National Wildlife Federation Community Wildlife Habitat Celebration
Join us at the High Plains Environmental Center (HPEC) on Thursday, September 20th from 4pm – 7pm to celebrate Centerra’s certification as the first Community Wildlife Habitat in the state of Colorado by the National Wildlife Federation (NWF). This community event will include a native plant sale, bird banding, scavenger hunt, silent auction, trivia, tours of HPEC’s native landscapes, and a ceremony to honor the community residents who helped Centerra earn the certification by certifying their own gardens. The event will also feature a silent auction, live music, food trucks, an address by the Mayor of Loveland and a Ranger Rick photo booth! Don’t miss this fun and educational community event!

The Marketplace at Centerra
This annual spooktacular street festival will feature a wide variety of complimentary hands‑on and interactive activities for all ages. Trunk‑n‑treat returns to Fall River Drive courtesy of the Motorplex at Centerra. Complimentary goodies and candy available, while supplies last.
September Food Truck Roundup at Centerra
The September Food Truck Roundup is Thursday, September 20th. The Food Truck Roundup will take place in the center of the Rangeview campus (between 2725 Rocky Mountain Ave and 2915 Rocky Mountain Ave) from 11am until 2pm. Farmers Market at Centerra
Centerra has partnered with Miller Farms of Platteville, CO to hold a bi‑monthly Farmers Market at the Rangeview Office Campus. Details for the Markets can be found at www.centerra.com.
Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival

Join Nancy Aley for a fun day of nature journaling. All ages and talents are welcomed. The nature walk will be playful, as you look for little or big interesting things beyond HPEC’s Visitors Center. You get to choose what you want to draw. Bring a sketchbook and drawing/paint materials in your day pack, Don’t forget water, hat, a snack and perhaps something small to sit on.

HPEC Monthly Bird Walks
Whether you’re a seasoned birder or an amateur, join Sheila Webber for a bird walk around Equalizer every second Saturday from March – October at 8:00 am. Walking will be at a slow pace, approximately 2 miles on walking path. Bring binoculars and a field guide to enhance your birding experience. The event will be cancelled in the event of severe weather or muddy conditions.
