Not far from Centerra, Loveland has three of the best golf courses in Colorado as well as a unique SNAG (Starting New at Golf) course. Here’s a look at what each one has to offer, and what types of players they cater to at the course.

Cattail Creek Golf Course
Cattail Creek Golf Course is a great place for new players that are beginning to move up to full fledge golfing. The gentle rolling hills and water provide just the right amount of difficulty and make it easy to walk the course. The facility provides everything a new golfer could ask for: pro shop, driving range and PGA learning center.

Type of Golf Course: 9‑Holes that are Par 3

There’s also a super fun Mini‑Course that’s great for beginners of all ages. There are self‑teaching stations where you can practice your swing as well as a 9‑hole mini course to test your newfound skills.

The Olde Course at Loveland
This mature golf course is a real gem. The pro shop is fairly standard, but once you get out on the green it’s easy to see why so many people from around Northern Colorado stop in to play at The Olde Course at Loveland. With tree‑lined fairways and carefully manicured turf, this is a traditional golf course that provides a great challenge for moderate to experienced players.

Marina Butte Golf Course

In recent years a lot of investment has gone into improving the Marina Butte Golf Course and clubhouse. The back part of the golf course is a favored portion for seasoned golfers, but the entire area offers breathtaking views of the mountains and Big Thompson River, which runs alongside the course. The hilly course provides an overall moderate difficulty level offering a good round for players of all skill levels.
